When we met up with our friends in Sarasota, FL, she showed me what she’s been doing – painting rocks! She recently painted her 50th rock! To keep from being like Lucy in The Long Long Trailer, she leaves them at RV parks that they go to along the way!
I finished and mailed the prayer lapghan I was working on.
JAWS and especially Shadow love when I’m working on a large project. Shadow thinks this one makes a nice pillow!
Remember the bibs? My step dad fancied his up… 😂
Always seeking, I learned that Deuteronomy 6:4-9 is known as the Shema (“sheh-mah”). Shema in Hebrew translates to “hear”,the first word of those verses. This week, I felt convicted to be obedient, and “write these words on the doorposts of your house”.
“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”
Deuteronomy 6:4-9, NKJV Italics mine, which are the words I wrote on our doorpost.
